Dr. John Pazora has spent more than two decades practicing veterinary medicine in North Texas, building a career rooted in strong client relationships and a genuine commitment to patient care. Born and raised locally, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas Tech University in 1997 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.
Dr. Pazora spent his early career as an associate veterinarian in McKinney and The Colony before founding his own veterinary hospital in Melissa, which he owned and operated until 2019. He went on to work alongside Dr. Lopez as an associate and later served as chief of staff at a veterinary hospital in Fairview. Throughout it all, his passion remained the same: building personal connections with clients, educating them about their pet’s health, and collaborating with them to make the best decisions for their animals.
That passion is what led him back to independent practice. Together with Dr. Lopez, he co-founded Painted Tree Veterinary Hospital with a shared vision of providing individualized, attentive care in an environment where both pets and people feel genuinely welcome.
Dr. Pazora and his wife, Brandy, are the proud parents of two daughters, Alexa and Alina. At home, the family includes two dogs — Oscar, a Schnauzer mix, and Ginger, a Shih-Poo — along with a Ragdoll cat named Mr. Butters.
